When I left for college in Philly, my mom moved out of the house where I grew up and so now when I go ‘home’ it’s to a house I’ve never lived in in an area of Maryland with which I’m unfamiliar. If not for the family I’d likely never go there.

I definitely feel that sort of attachment with a city to both Providence and Philadelphia, there’s just something comforting about being wrapped in the city.
