I didn’t remember that the Trinity Killer was named Arthur until I was writing this. Another slight coincidence between John Lithgow’s work and his father is how 3rd Rock from the Sun had him portraying a college professor (albeit, one from another planet) and his father – in addition to being heavily involved in theatre, was also a university professor during his career.

I’ve always been a huge fan of the range of his work, but seeing him on stage performing so many roles one after another and then also sliding into talking about his family was amazing.
